Market price comparisons for vehicle dealers

See how every vehicle in your stock is priced against similar vehicles for sale near you. The Vehiso DMS (Dealer Management System) finds comparable vehicles within 50 miles of your branch, works out a market price for your vehicle's mileage, and tells you whether you are below, in line with or above the market, right on the vehicle's page.

Included on every paid plan for UK dealers, and in Beta. The figures are a guide, so use them alongside your own research.

Your price against the market, without the searching

Market pricing sits on each vehicle's summary in the Vehiso DMS, and at the top of its advert details.

Checked overnight

Vehicles with a make, model and price are compared overnight with similar vehicles for sale near your branch, and kept up to date every few days. No more searching listing sites by hand.

A market price for your vehicle

Similar means the same make, model and gearbox, registered within a year either side. The market price is the middle of what they are advertised for, adjusted for your vehicle's mileage when there are enough to go on.

You decide

See where you stand at a glance, look at the vehicles you are compared with, and change your price in the DMS if you want to. Your website updates from the same price.

What you see for each vehicle

Everything you need to price with confidence, in one panel.

Above, in line or below

A clear label tells you whether your price is below the market, in line with it or above it.

The difference in pounds

Your price, the market price and the gap between them, side by side.

The middle of the market

The range the middle half of similar vehicles are priced in, so you can see how wide the market is, not just its center.

Behind the AI Price Advisor

The same comparisons feed the AI Price Advisor's suggestions for slow-selling stock, so a suggested cut says how many similar vehicles it was priced against.

A guide, not a rule

Market pricing helps you decide. It never changes a price for you.

  • No price changes unless you or your team change it
  • When too few similar vehicles are for sale nearby, you are told how many there were instead of being given a shaky figure
  • Every result shows when it was searched, so you know how fresh it is
  • Your branch's postcode sets the search area, so the comparison is local to you
  • In Beta, so the data may be incomplete or out of date. Do your own research before setting a price

Who can use it

Market price comparisons are for UK dealers on a paid Vehiso plan. Any vehicle with a make, model and price at a branch with a UK postcode is compared.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the comparisons come from?

From vehicles other dealers are currently advertising for sale within 50 miles of your branch. A vehicle counts as similar when it is the same make, model and gearbox and was registered within a year of yours.

How is the market price worked out?

It is the middle price of the similar vehicles found, so one unusually cheap or expensive vehicle does not skew it. When enough of them show their mileage, it is adjusted to your vehicle's mileage, because mileage moves a used vehicle's price more than anything else.

How often is it updated?

Vehicles are checked overnight and refreshed every few days, and you can press Search again on any vehicle's page to check it there and then.

Does it change my prices?

No. Market pricing only shows you where you stand. You decide whether to change a price, yourself or by applying a suggestion from the AI Price Advisor.

Which dealers can use it?

UK dealers on any paid Vehiso plan. It is not part of the Free plan, and it is in Beta while we keep improving it.

Why does a vehicle say there are too few to compare?

When fewer than three similar vehicles are for sale nearby, a market price would not be reliable, so Vehiso tells you how many it found instead. Rarer models and older vehicles are the most common cases.
