AI workshop write-ups for vehicle health checks
Technicians find the work. Customers need to understand it. On each amber or red health check finding, a technician records a quick voice note or uses their notes, and AI in the Vehiso DMS (Dealer Management System) writes it up in plain words for the customer to read before they approve the work.
Included on every paid plan, alongside the other AI features. The technician checks every write-up before the customer sees it.
From a quick note to a clear explanation
Write-ups sit on each finding of a vehicle health check in the Vehiso DMS.
Record or type
On an amber or red finding, the technician records a voice note while still at the vehicle, or uses the notes they have already typed.
AI writes it up
The note becomes a short explanation in everyday language: what was found, why it matters and what is recommended, in your dealership's tone and your website's language.
Check and save
The technician reads it through and changes anything that needs it. The customer then sees it on their health check report, next to the estimated cost.
Explanations customers can say yes to
Clear write-ups build the trust that turns a health check into approved work.
No jargon
Workshop shorthand becomes something a customer can follow, without talking down to them.
Voice notes, hands free
Technicians talk instead of typing with dirty hands, and the recording is turned into text for them.
Prices stay yours
AI never writes a price. The customer sees the estimated cost your team entered, and nothing else about money.
In your tone of voice
Write-ups follow the tone you have set for your dealership, so they sound like the rest of your messages.
In your customers' language
Written in the language your website uses, so the report reads naturally to the people you serve.
Ready for approval
The write-up sits on the health check report the customer opens when deciding whether to approve the work.
Your technicians stay in control
AI drafts the words. Your team checks them before the customer sees anything.
- Every write-up is read and saved by the technician, never sent on its own
- AI never adds prices, percentages or figures that were not in the technician's notes
- Technicians can always write it themselves instead
- Sending the report to the customer stays with whoever manages your workshop
- Switch write-ups off under AI features in the DMS at any time
Part of workshop management
Write-ups sit inside Vehiso's vehicle health checks, alongside job cards, online bookings and invoicing.

Which findings get a write-up?
Amber and red findings on a vehicle health check, the items a customer is asked to approve. Items that passed need no explanation.
How does the voice note work?
The technician presses Record a voice note on the finding, talks through what they found, then presses Stop and write it up. The recording is turned into text and written up in one go. All it needs is a microphone the browser can use.
Could AI make up prices or repairs?
No. AI is never given the estimated cost, and a write-up that mentions money, percentages or numbers that were not in the technician's notes is not used. The customer sees the price your team entered.
Can the technician change what AI wrote?
Yes. The write-up is an ordinary text box. Change any of it, clear it and start again, or write it yourself.
Is it included in my plan?
Yes. Workshop write-ups are included on every paid Vehiso plan with the other AI features, with no charge per write-up. They can be switched off under AI features in the DMS.
Who sends the report to the customer?
Technicians write up the findings. Sending the health check report to the customer stays with the staff who manage your workshop, as it does today.
