Free Services Terms for Vehiso Ltd
These terms apply to the Vehiso Free plan and to anything else we provide to you at no charge. They sit alongside our Terms and Conditions, which continue to apply in full. Where the two disagree about free services, these terms apply.

1. Agreement to These Terms
These terms are between you, the business holding a Vehiso account (“you”, “your”), and Vehiso Ltd (“Vehiso”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They govern everything we provide to you without charge.
By using a free service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use it.
The short version: the Free plan is a real product and not a countdown trial, we would rather you grew into a paid plan than felt pushed into one, and in return we ask that free accounts are used to run a real dealership. Free services are provided as they are, with no service levels attached, and we can change or withdraw them.
2. What Counts as a Free Service
A free service is anything we make available to you at no charge, including:
- the Free plan;
- a free trial of a paid plan or of an add-on;
- any feature we release in preview, beta or early access; and
- any credit, allowance or service we give you as a goodwill gesture or as part of a promotion.
Everything in these terms applies to all of them, unless we have agreed something different with you in writing.
3. What the Free Plan Includes
The Free plan gives you a working dealer website and dealer management system at no cost, with:
- up to 5 vehicles listed for sale at any one time;
- 1 user account;
- the website builder and our templates; and
- the ability to connect a custom domain you own or register through us.
The Free plan costs nothing and does not require a card. We may ask for a payment method before we provide free services where we have reason to think an account carries a risk of fraud or abuse, and we may decline to provide free services to an account that will not give one.
The 5-vehicle allowance is a limit on vehicles offered for sale, not on records you keep. If you move to the Free plan from a paid plan with more stock than that, vehicles above the allowance are taken off sale rather than deleted: the records, photos and history stay, and they can be put back on sale when you upgrade.
4. What the Free Plan Does Not Include
These features are part of the paid plans and are not available on the Free plan:
- Accept Payments
- Finance
- Stock Feeds
- AI Assistant & AI Agents
- Workshop Management
- Accounting
- Social Media Posting & Automation
- AI Vehicle Descriptions
- Enhanced Vehicle Data
- Valuations
- E-Signatures
- AI Background Replacement
- SMS
- Email Accounts
Add-ons cannot be bought or trialled on the Free plan. If you already hold one when your website moves to Free, you keep the ability to cancel it.
We may move a feature between the free and paid plans. Section 10 says how.
5. One Free Website per Account
One account may hold one Free-plan website at a time. Additional websites need a paid plan. If you cancel a free website you can start another.
You may not open more than one account, or use accounts held by people connected to you, in order to hold several free websites, to list more vehicles than the allowance, or to get around any other limit in these terms. Where we find accounts doing this we may treat them as one, and apply section 9 to all of them.
6. Fair Use
Free services are for running a genuine vehicle dealership. Fair use means using your free website the way a small dealer would use it, and not:
- opening accounts you do not intend to use as a dealership, including accounts opened only to earn a referral reward, to claim a promotion or to hold a domain;
- reselling, sublicensing or white-labelling the platform, or offering it to other businesses as if it were your own service;
- using it as general web hosting, file storage or a mailbox, or for pages unrelated to selling vehicles;
- using it to host or sell anything other than vehicles and directly related goods and services;
- publishing pages whose purpose is search engine manipulation rather than selling your stock, including link networks, doorway pages and pages of scraped content;
- automated or bulk use of the platform beyond ordinary day to day operation, including scraping, bulk imports and automated calls to our interfaces we have not agreed to;
- working around a limit in the plan by technical means, including automating the removal and re-listing of vehicles to exceed the allowance; or
- placing a load on our systems that is out of proportion to running a dealership of your size, and that affects other customers.
Fair use is judged on what is reasonable, not on a fixed number. Where free usage looks unreasonable to us we will normally contact you first and give you the chance to explain or to change it. Section 9 says what happens when we cannot resolve it that way.
7. Your Website and Your Content
Your website is yours to fill, and what is on it is your responsibility. On a free service you agree that:
- vehicles you advertise are vehicles you are able to sell, and their details are accurate;
- your content is lawful, is yours to publish, and does not infringe anyone's rights;
- you comply with the law that applies to selling vehicles where you trade, including advertising, consumer and data protection law; and
- you do not publish anything obscene, deceptive, or aimed at defrauding the people who visit your site.
These obligations are the same on a paid plan. They are repeated here because a free website is the cheapest one to abuse, and because a site we host reflects on us as well as on you.
8. Availability and Support
Free services carry no service levels. We do not promise any level of uptime, performance, response time or support for them, and no service credit or refund arises when a free service is unavailable, because nothing has been paid for it.
We will still help. Free accounts have our documentation and help centre, and we answer support requests as best we can. Paid plans come first when we have to choose.
Features in preview, beta or early access may change, break or be removed without warning, and are not to be relied on for anything you cannot afford to lose.
9. Suspension for Breach
We may suspend or withdraw free services from your account, at once and without notice, where:
- you breach these terms, our Terms and Conditions, or the fair use rules in section 6;
- the account is being used for fraud, or for anything unlawful;
- the account puts our platform, our other customers or their data at risk; or
- we are required to do so by law, by a regulator, or by one of our own suppliers.
We will tell you what has happened and why, unless we are prevented from doing so. Where the problem is one you can put right, we will say what would put it right, and you can ask us to look again. Where the same account or the same people do it repeatedly, we may decline to provide free services to them in future.
Nothing in this section limits what we may do about a paid subscription under our Terms and Conditions.
10. Changing or Withdrawing Free Services
We may change what a free service includes, put limits on it, or stop offering it entirely, at any time and for any reason. The Free plan is offered while we choose to offer it, and we may also stop accepting new free signups without affecting existing ones.
Where we withdraw the Free plan, or make a change to it that leaves you materially worse off, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email to the address on your account and by a notice in the account itself. During that period you can move to a paid plan or export your data. Section 9 is the exception: a suspension for breach takes effect at once.
What we will not do is start charging you for a plan you are already on without your agreement. The Free plan is not a trial with a hidden end date, and moving to a paid plan is always something you choose to do.
A change to these terms is published on this page and takes effect from the date it is published, except where the change is material and to your disadvantage, in which case the notice period above applies.
11. Moving to a Paid Plan
You can move to a paid plan whenever you like. The paid plan starts immediately, and it is charged immediately rather than at the end of a cycle, because there is no free cycle to bill against.
Vehicles taken off sale by the free allowance can be put back on sale once you are on a plan that has room for them.
If you later return to the Free plan, the allowances and limits in these terms apply again from that point.
12. Your Data
Your data is yours, on a free plan exactly as on a paid one, and how we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Export anything you want to keep before you close your account, before you stop using a free service, and during any notice period we give you under section 10. We do not undertake to keep the data on a closed or withdrawn free account available indefinitely, and we may delete it after a reasonable period.
13. Domains and Anything You Have Paid For
Some things sit alongside a free plan and are not themselves free. A domain you register through us is a purchase: it stays registered to you for its term whatever happens to your free website, and withdrawing free services does not take it away from you, though you will need somewhere else to point it. The same goes for anything else you have bought, including wallet credit and any add-on you hold.
Withdrawing a free service does not entitle us to keep money you have paid for something else, and does not entitle you to a refund of it either.
14. Liability for Free Services
Free services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties about them, and our liability in connection with a free service is limited to the amount you have paid us for it, which is nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
These limits apply to free services only. Where you are on a paid plan, the liability terms in our Terms and Conditions apply to it.
15. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of England.
