Copy your link
In the Vehiso DMS, open Administration > Developers and copy your AI assistant (MCP) link. It is unique to your dealership.
Add it to your AI app
Add a custom connector in Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app that supports MCP, and paste the link.
Approve in your DMS
Your AI app sends you to your own DMS, where you sign in and approve what it is asking to do.
Ask away
Turn the connector on in a chat. In Claude, a connector added on the web or desktop works in the mobile app too.

Frequently asked questions
Which AI apps can I connect?
AI apps that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and its sign-in, including Claude on the web, on desktop and in the mobile app, ChatGPT and Claude Code. Some apps only offer custom connectors on certain plans, so check your app's own help pages.
Do I need an API key?
No. You sign in to your own Vehiso DMS and approve the connection, so no password or key is ever shared with your AI app. Developers who would rather use a key can, as the setup guide explains.
Can the assistant change things without asking me?
Apps such as Claude and ChatGPT ask for your go-ahead before they use a tool that changes your data, unless you have told them to always allow it. Whatever the app, it can only do what your own role in the DMS allows, and every request it makes is logged in the DMS.
What can't it do?
It cannot add or delete vehicles, manage photos or send messages to your customers. Do those in the Vehiso DMS as usual.
Which plans include it?
Every paid Vehiso plan. You also need an account with an AI app that supports MCP connectors.
How is this different from the built-in AI Assistant?
The AI Assistant is built into the Vehiso DMS and works across stock, customers, enquiries, deals and the workshop. The connector is for dealers who already use Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant and want their dealership there, next to their email, documents and other tools.
