Why
This Focus has had plenty of views but no enquiries for two weeks, and it is priced above similar vehicles nearby. A small cut should bring it into line. The cut has been held back to keep your minimum margin.
Price cuts with a reason behind them
Price Advisor has its own page in the Vehiso DMS, and every vehicle gets a Price advice panel.

Clear reasons, not guesswork
Each suggestion says why: priced above similar vehicles nearby (and how many it compared), above the AutoTrader retail valuation, rated high by AutoTrader, no enquiries despite views, or simply aged stock.
Explained in plain English
Rules set the suggested price. AI then writes a short explanation of why, so you can decide in seconds.
You stay in control
Nothing changes until you say so. Apply or dismiss each suggestion from the Price Advisor page or the Price advice panel on the vehicle.
One price everywhere
Applying a cut updates the price on your website and on AutoTrader together, if the vehicle is listed there.
A full price history
Every price change is recorded, along with who made it: the price advisor, a team member, or an import or automation.
Comparisons with similar vehicles for sale nearby are available in the UK and are in Beta.
Guard rails you set
You decide how far the price advisor can go. It works inside your limits, never around them.
- It never suggests a price that leaves less profit than your minimum margin
- When your margin limits a cut, it tells you: "Held back to keep your minimum margin"
- A vehicle with no purchase price gets no suggestion, and the panel asks you to add one
- Vehicles getting recent enquiries are left alone

Frequently asked questions
How does the price advisor decide on a price?
Rules set the suggested price, based on how long the vehicle has been in stock, how it compares with similar vehicles for sale nearby, the AutoTrader retail valuation and price rating, and enquiries against views. AI then writes a short, plain-English explanation of why, so you can judge each suggestion quickly.
Will it ever change my prices on its own?
No. Every suggestion waits for you. Apply it and the price changes; dismiss it and nothing happens. Each change is recorded in the price history, along with who made it.
Does applying a price update AutoTrader?
Yes, if the vehicle is listed on AutoTrader. Applying a suggestion changes the price on your Vehiso website and on AutoTrader together, so the two never disagree.
How do I stop it eating into my profit?
Set a minimum margin, the largest single cut and the minimum days in stock before a suggestion. It never suggests a price that leaves less profit than your minimum margin after the purchase price and costs, and it tells you when a cut was held back for that reason. A vehicle without a purchase price gets no suggestion until you add one.
Where do the market comparisons work?
Comparisons with similar vehicles for sale nearby are available in the UK and are currently in Beta. The other reasons, such as days in stock and enquiries against views, do not depend on them.
Does it cost extra?
No. Price Advisor is included with the AI features on every paid Vehiso plan, from £49/month, with no extra AI add-on. You can switch it off at any time in AI feature settings.
